Story of mary meets the risen jesus – मरियम की पुनर्जीवित यीशु से मुलाकात की कहानी
The story of Mary Magdalene meeting the risen Jesus is a significant event in Christian tradition, and it is found in the Gospels of the New Testament. This encounter took place shortly after Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.
After Jesus’ crucifixion and burial, Mary Magdalene, one of Jesus’ devoted followers, visits the tomb early in the morning on the third day (Easter Sunday).
When she arrives at the tomb, she finds the stone covering the entrance has been rolled away. Alarmed and assuming that someone has taken Jesus’ body, she runs to tell Simon Peter and another disciple, often believed to be John, about the situation.
After Peter and the other disciple come to the tomb and see the empty burial clothes, they leave, but Mary stays behind near the tomb, weeping.
Mary then looks into the tomb and sees two angels in white sitting where Jesus’ body had been.
The angels ask her why she is crying, and she replies that she is grieving because someone has taken away her Lord’s body.
As Mary continues to weep, she turns around and sees a man standing nearby. She initially does not recognize him, thinking he might be the gardener.
The man asks her why she is crying and whom she is seeking.
Then, Jesus, revealing his identity, calls her by name, saying, “Mary.” At that moment, she recognizes him as her beloved teacher and Lord.
Filled with joy and astonishment, Mary Magdalene responds to Jesus by saying, “Rabboni!” which means “Teacher” in Aramaic.
Jesus instructs Mary not to cling to him, indicating that he has not yet ascended to the Father.
He commissions her to go to his disciples and announce the news of his resurrection: “Go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'”
Mary Magdalene, upon meeting the risen Jesus, becomes the first witness to the resurrection and the bearer of the good news to the disciples. This encounter is a central and pivotal moment in Christian belief and is celebrated as a cornerstone of the Christian faith, symbolizing the victory of life over death and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
