The story of peter’s miraculous escape – पीटर के चमत्कारिक ढंग से बच निकलने की कहानी

The story of Peter’s miraculous escape from prison is found in the New Testament of the Bible, specifically in the Book of Acts, chapter 12.

King Herod Agrippa I, in his efforts to gain favor with the Jewish leaders, arrested the apostle Peter and put him in prison.

While Peter was in prison, an angel of the Lord appeared to him. The angel approached Peter, and a light shone in the prison cell. The angel struck Peter on the side and woke him up, instructing him to get up quickly.

As Peter rose, the chains that bound his wrists fell off. The angel then instructed Peter to put on his sandals and cloak.

The angel led Peter through the prison, past the guards and the iron gate leading to the city. The gate opened for them of its own accord.

Peter, thinking he was seeing a vision, followed the angel out of the prison. When they had passed the first and second guard posts, they came to the iron gate leading to the city, which opened for them. It was then that Peter realized he had been miraculously freed.

After his release, Peter went to the house of Mary, the mother of John Mark, where many believers were gathered in prayer for him.

When Peter knocked at the outer entrance, a servant girl named Rhoda recognized his voice and was so overjoyed that she forgot to open the door. Instead, she ran back to tell the others that Peter was at the door.

The believers initially found it hard to believe Rhoda’s report, thinking it might be Peter’s angel. However, when they opened the door and saw Peter, they were amazed.

This miraculous escape from prison is a testament to the power of God and the faithfulness of His intervention on behalf of those who serve Him. Peter’s release became a source of encouragement and strengthened the faith of the early Christian community.
