The story of jesus healing a paralytic – यीशु द्वारा एक लकवे के रोगी को ठीक करने की कहानी

The story of Jesus healing a paralytic is a well-known miracle recorded in the Gospels. The account can be found in the Gospel of Mark (Mark 2:1-12), the Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 9:1-8), and the Gospel of Luke (Luke 5:17-26).

Jesus was in Capernaum, and news spread that he was at a house. The house quickly became crowded with people eager to hear him teach.

There was a paralyzed man who was unable to walk, and he had four friends who were determined to bring him to Jesus for healing.

Due to the large crowd, the friends couldn’t get the paralyzed man through the door to reach Jesus. Undeterred, they went up to the roof, made an opening, and lowered the paralyzed man down on his mat into the presence of Jesus.

Witnessing their faith and determination, Jesus was moved. He saw not only the physical paralysis but also the faith of the paralyzed man and his friends.

Before addressing the physical condition, Jesus surprised the crowd by declaring, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” This statement caused some of the scribes present to question Jesus’ authority to forgive sins.

Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, asked whether it was easier to say, “Your sins are forgiven,” or to say, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” To demonstrate his authority, Jesus then commanded the paralyzed man to take up his mat and go home.

Instantly, the paralyzed man was healed. He stood up, took his mat, and walked out before everyone present.

The people were amazed, and they glorified God, acknowledging that such authority and power were given to human beings by God.

This miracle not only showcased Jesus’ ability to heal physical ailments but also emphasized his authority to forgive sins. It highlighted the importance of faith, persistence, and the profound connection between spiritual and physical healing in Jesus’ ministry.
