The story of jesus calming the storm – यीशु द्वारा तूफ़ान को शांत करने की कहानी

The story of Jesus calming the storm is recorded in the New Testament Gospels of Matthew (8:23-27), Mark (4:35-41), and Luke (8:22-25).

Jesus and His disciples are in a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Jesus, exhausted from teaching the crowds, falls asleep in the stern of the boat.

Suddenly, a fierce storm arises on the sea, causing waves to break over the boat and threatening to sink it. The disciples, fearing for their lives, wake Jesus, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!”

Jesus wakes up and rebukes the wind and waves, saying, “Quiet! Be still!” Immediately, the wind ceases, and there is a great calm. The disciples are amazed at Jesus’ power over nature.

Jesus then turns to His disciples and asks them, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” His question challenges their lack of faith in His ability to protect and save them, despite the storm.

The disciples are filled with awe and wonder at Jesus’ demonstration of power over the elements. They marvel at His authority and realize that He is not just an ordinary teacher but someone with divine authority.

The disciples’ faith in Jesus is strengthened as they witness His miraculous intervention in calming the storm. They come to recognize Him as the Son of God, with power and authority over creation.

The story of Jesus calming the storm illustrates His divine authority and power over nature. It also serves as a reminder to trust in Jesus during life’s storms and challenges, knowing that He is always with us and has the power to bring peace and calm even in the midst of chaos.
