The story of jesus born in a stable – अस्तबल में पैदा हुए यीशु की कहानी

The story of Jesus born in a stable is a central event in the Christian faith and is described in the New Testament of the Bible, particularly in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke.

The story begins with the angel Gabriel appearing to a young Jewish woman named Mary in the town of Nazareth. Gabriel informs Mary that she has been chosen by God to bear the Messiah, the Son of God. Mary, though initially surprised, humbly accepts this divine calling, saying, “Let it be done to me according to your word.”

Mary was engaged to a man named Joseph, who learned of Mary’s pregnancy. However, before he could take any action, an angel appeared to him in a dream, explaining that Mary’s child was conceived by the Holy Spirit and instructing him to take Mary as his wife. Joseph obediently follows the angel’s guidance and takes Mary into his home.

Around the time of Mary’s pregnancy, a decree is issued by the Roman Emperor Caesar Augustus, requiring everyone to return to their ancestral hometown for a census. Joseph, being of the line of David, travels with Mary from Nazareth to Bethlehem, David’s city, to register for the census.

When Mary and Joseph arrive in Bethlehem, they find the town crowded with other travelers. Unable to find lodging, they seek shelter in a humble stable or cave used as a makeshift shelter for animals.

It is in this humble setting that Mary gives birth to her son, Jesus. She wraps him in swaddling cloths and lays him in a manger, a feeding trough for animals, as there was no crib available.

Nearby fields, shepherds are keeping watch over their flocks by night. Suddenly, an angel appears to them, announcing the birth of the Savior in Bethlehem. The shepherds hurry to the stable, where they find Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus. They worship the newborn child and spread the news of his birth throughout the land.

Later, wise men from the East, guided by a star, come to Bethlehem bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to honor the newborn King. They worship Jesus as the promised Messiah, symbolizing the inclusion of all nations in the salvation brought by Jesus.

The story of Jesus born in a stable, often portrayed in nativity scenes and Christmas celebrations, is central to Christian belief as it signifies the incarnation of God, the Word made flesh, dwelling among humanity to bring salvation and redemption to all people. It highlights the humility and simplicity of Jesus’ birth, emphasizing God’s love and accessibility to all, regardless of social status or circumstance.
