The story of jesus and the doctor in the temple – मंदिर में यीशु और डॉक्टर की कहानी

The story of Jesus and the doctors in the temple is found in the New Testament of the Bible, specifically in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 2, verses 41-52. The story takes place when Jesus is twelve years old. His family, including Mary and Joseph, travel to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover festival, as was their custom.

After the festival concludes, Jesus’ family begins their journey back home to Nazareth. However, unbeknownst to his parents, Jesus stays behind in Jerusalem. They assume he is with relatives or friends in their traveling group and don’t realize he’s missing until they are a day into their journey.

Concerned and anxious, Mary and Joseph return to Jerusalem to search for Jesus. After three days of searching, they find him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.

Mary and Joseph are astonished to find Jesus in the temple, engaged in discussion with the teachers of the law. They express their concern, and Mary asks Jesus why he stayed behind without informing them. Jesus responds, “Why were you searching for me? Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” (Luke 2:49).

While Jesus’ parents initially do not fully comprehend his words, they eventually understand the significance of his actions. Jesus’ presence in the temple, engaging with the teachers and discussing matters of faith, demonstrates his unique wisdom and understanding even at a young age.

Jesus returns with his parents to Nazareth, where he continues to grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

This story provides a glimpse into Jesus’ early life and highlights his remarkable wisdom and understanding of spiritual matters, even as a young boy. It also emphasizes the importance of being in communion with God and engaging in discussions about faith and scripture.
