The story of god asking moses to help him – परमेश्वर द्वारा मूसा से उसकी सहायता करने के लिए कहने की कहानी

The story of God asking Moses to help Him is found in the Book of Exodus in the Bible. Moses, a Hebrew raised as an Egyptian prince, fled Egypt after killing an Egyptian overseer who was mistreating a Hebrew slave. He spent years in the wilderness of Midian, where he married Zipporah, the daughter of Jethro, a priest of Midian.

While Moses was tending his father-in-law’s flock near Horeb (Mount Sinai), he encountered a burning bush that was not consumed by the fire. As Moses approached the bush, God spoke to him from within the flames, calling his name.

God tells Moses that He has seen the suffering of the Israelites in Egypt and heard their cries for help because of their harsh treatment under Egyptian slavery. God informs Moses that He has chosen him to deliver the Israelites from Egypt and bring them to the Promised Land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Initially, Moses is hesitant and questions his ability to carry out such a monumental task. He asks God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” (Exodus 3:11).

God assures Moses that He will be with him and promises to give him the necessary guidance and support. He tells Moses, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain” (Exodus 3:12).

Moses expresses concerns about how the Israelites will respond to him and questions what he should tell them about the God who has sent him.

God reveals His divine name to Moses, saying, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you'” (Exodus 3:14). God instructs Moses to tell the Israelites that the God of their ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has sent him to them.

God outlines His plan for Moses to confront Pharaoh, the ruler of Egypt, and demand the release of the Israelites. He promises to perform signs and wonders to convince Pharaoh to let His people go.

In this story, God chooses Moses as His instrument to bring liberation to the Israelites, demonstrating His compassion for His people and His willingness to work through human agents to fulfill His purposes.
