The story of a terrible time for jesus – यीशु के लिए एक भयानक समय की कहानी
The story “A Terrible Time for Jesus” isn’t a standard title from biblical accounts, but it could refer to the events leading up to and including Jesus’ crucifixion, which are often considered a terrible time in His life.
One of Jesus’ disciples, Judas Iscariot, betrayed Him to the religious authorities for thirty pieces of silver.
Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray with His disciples. There, He experienced deep anguish and distress, knowing what was about to happen. He prayed fervently, and His sweat fell like drops of blood. During this time, Judas arrived with a crowd to arrest Him.
Jesus was arrested and taken before the Jewish religious leaders, including the high priest Caiaphas, for a series of trials. He was accused of blasphemy and declared guilty.
During Jesus’ trials, Peter, one of His closest disciples, denied knowing Him three times, as Jesus had predicted.
Jesus was taken before the Roman governor Pontius Pilate, who found no guilt in Him but, to appease the crowd, handed Him over to be crucified.
Before the crucifixion, Jesus was scourged and mocked by Roman soldiers. They placed a crown of thorns on His head and mocked Him as a king.
Jesus was forced to carry His cross to Golgotha, where He was crucified alongside two criminals. He endured immense suffering on the cross, including physical agony and the weight of the sins of humanity.
After hours of agony, Jesus cried out, “It is finished,” and breathed His last breath. His body was taken down from the cross and placed in a tomb donated by Joseph of Arimathea.
This period in Jesus’ life is often referred to as the Passion of Christ. Despite the terrible suffering He endured, Christians believe that His sacrificial death and subsequent resurrection were essential for the forgiveness of sins and the salvation of humanity.
