Story of lord speaks from a burning bush – जलती हुई झाड़ी से प्रभु के बोलने की कहानी

The story of the Lord speaking from a burning bush is a pivotal event in the Bible, particularly in the Book of Exodus. It is a significant moment in the life of Moses and marks the beginning of his mission to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt.

The story is set in ancient Egypt, where the Israelites, descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, were enslaved and oppressed by the Egyptian Pharaoh.

Moses, an Israelite born during a time when Pharaoh ordered the killing of Hebrew baby boys, was miraculously saved by his mother. He grew up in Pharaoh’s palace but was later forced to flee Egypt after he killed an Egyptian taskmaster who was mistreating an Israelite slave.

Moses escaped to the land of Midian, where he married and worked as a shepherd for many years.

One day, while Moses was tending his flock near Horeb, the mountain of God, he noticed a remarkable sight—a bush that was on fire but not consumed by the flames. As he approached to investigate, God spoke to him from the burning bush, calling his name, “Moses, Moses.”

God revealed His presence to Moses and identified Himself as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He explained that He had seen the suffering of the Israelites in Egypt and had heard their cries. God expressed His intention to rescue His people and bring them to the Promised Land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Moses was initially reluctant and questioned his ability to lead the Israelites. He felt inadequate for the task and asked God for His name. God replied with the famous statement, “I AM WHO I AM,” signifying His eternal and self-existing nature.

God provided Moses with instructions on how to approach Pharaoh and demand the release of the Israelites. He also assured Moses that He would be with him and perform miraculous signs to confirm His presence and power.

Moses, now convinced of his mission, returned to Egypt with his wife and sons. He met with his brother Aaron, and together, they gathered the elders of Israel and presented God’s message of deliverance.

Moses and Aaron went before Pharaoh, demanding the release of the Israelites. Pharaoh initially resisted, leading to a series of plagues sent by God to persuade Pharaoh to let the Israelites go.

After the final and devastating plague, the death of the firstborn, Pharaoh finally relented, and he allowed the Israelites to leave Egypt. The Exodus marked the beginning of the Israelites’ journey to the Promised Land, with Moses as their leader and guide.

The story of the burning bush is a foundational narrative in the Bible, emphasizing God’s presence, His compassion for the oppressed, and His call to individuals to participate in His divine plan. Moses’ encounter with the burning bush is seen as a divine commissioning, and it sets the stage for the remarkable events that follow in the Exodus narrative.
