Story of jesus teaching about the sacrament – यीशु द्वारा संस्कार के बारे में शिक्षा देने की कहानी

Story of Jesus teaching about the sacrament, also known as the Last Supper or the Lord’s Supper, is found in the New Testament in several passages, including Matthew 26:26-30, Mark 14:22-26, Luke 22:14-20, and 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.

Jesus and his disciples gathered together to celebrate the Passover meal, a significant Jewish tradition commemorating the Exodus from Egypt. During this meal, Jesus institutes the sacrament of communion, which Christians continue to observe today.

Jesus took bread, gave thanks, and broke it, giving it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup of wine, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” Jesus instructed his disciples to do this in remembrance of him.

The bread symbolizes Jesus’ body, broken for humanity, and the wine represents his blood, shed for the forgiveness of sins. Through this act, Jesus establishes a new covenant between God and humanity, mediated through his sacrifice. The sacrament serves as a means of grace and a reminder of Jesus’ sacrificial love for humanity.

Jesus tells his disciples that he will not drink wine again until he drinks it anew with them in his Father’s kingdom. After the meal, they sing a hymn and go out to the Mount of Olives.

This event is significant in Christian theology as it represents the institution of the sacrament of communion, which is central to Christian worship and practice. It symbolizes the sacrificial death of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins and the establishment of a new covenant between God and humanity.
