Story of jesus rescuing a woman caught in adultery – यीशु द्वारा व्यभिचार में पकड़ी गई एक महिला को बचाने की कहानी
Story of Jesus rescuing a woman caught in adultery is found in the Gospel of John, chapter 8, verses 2-11.
One day, Jesus went to the temple courts, where a crowd gathered around him. The scribes and Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery and stood her before Jesus.
The religious leaders asked Jesus whether the woman should be stoned according to the law of Moses, as they were testing him, seeking grounds to accuse him.
Instead of answering directly, Jesus stooped down and began writing on the ground with his finger. When they continued questioning him, Jesus stood up and said, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”
Upon hearing this, the accusers, convicted by their own consciences, began to leave one by one, starting with the older ones.
When Jesus was left alone with the woman, he asked her where her accusers were. She replied that they were gone. Jesus then said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and sin no more.”
This story illustrates Jesus’ compassion, mercy, and wisdom. He does not condone sin but offers forgiveness and a fresh start to the woman, showing that he came not to condemn the world but to save it. It also highlights the hypocrisy of the religious leaders and their failure to recognize their own need for forgiveness.
