Story of jesus is crucified – यीशु को क्रूस पर चढ़ाए जाने की कहानी

The crucifixion of Jesus is one of the most significant events in Christian theology and is a central theme in the New Testament of the Bible, particularly in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. It marks the culmination of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.

The events leading to Jesus’ crucifixion began with His betrayal by one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot. Judas led the authorities to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus was praying, and Jesus was subsequently arrested by Roman soldiers and Jewish religious leaders.

Jesus underwent multiple trials before the religious and political authorities. He was first taken to the Jewish high priest, Caiaphas, where He was accused of blasphemy. Later, He was brought before the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate, who found no fault in Him but allowed the crowd to choose the release of a prisoner, Barabbas, instead of Jesus.

Before the crucifixion, Jesus was subjected to severe scourging, a brutal form of punishment in which He was whipped and beaten. He was also mocked by the Roman soldiers, who placed a crown of thorns on His head and dressed Him in a purple robe.

Jesus was forced to carry His own cross to the place of crucifixion, called Golgotha or Calvary. There, He was nailed to the cross, and it was raised, with Jesus hanging on it between two criminals. This method of execution was one of the most painful and humiliating forms of punishment in the Roman world.

A sign was placed above Jesus on the cross with the inscription “King of the Jews,” which was meant to mock Him and His claim to be the Messiah.

During His crucifixion, Jesus uttered several important statements, including “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” and “It is finished.” He also committed His spirit into the hands of God.

After hours of agony, Jesus died on the cross. His body was taken down, and He was buried in a nearby tomb by a wealthy follower named Joseph of Arimathea.

Three days after His crucifixion, according to Christian belief, Jesus rose from the dead, signifying victory over sin and death and confirming His divinity.

The crucifixion of Jesus is a central event in Christian theology and is commemorated annually on Good Friday. It is seen as the means by which Jesus atoned for the sins of humanity, offering salvation and eternal life to those who believe in Him.
