The Heavenly Vision: In the year King Uzziah died, Isaiah received a vision from the Lord while he was in the temple. The seraphim were calling out to one another, declaring God’s holiness: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”

God’s Call to Service: With Isaiah’s sin atoned for, God asked, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” Responding to God’s call, Isaiah said, “Here am I. Send me!”
Commission to Prophesy: God then commissioned Isaiah as a prophet, instructing him to deliver messages to the people of Israel, even though they might not listen or understand. Isaiah’s prophetic mission involved calling the people to repentance, warning of judgment for their sins, and offering hope for the future through the promise of a coming Messiah.
