Story of first days of the christian church – ईसाई चर्च के पहले दिनों की कहानी

The first days of the Christian Church are documented in the New Testament of the Bible, particularly in the Book of Acts. This period begins with the ascension of Jesus Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost.

After His resurrection, Jesus spends 40 days with His disciples, teaching them about the Kingdom of God. He then ascends into heaven, promising to send the Holy Spirit and instructing the disciples to wait in Jerusalem.

On the Jewish festival of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descends upon the disciples in the form of tongues of fire. They are filled with the Holy Spirit and begin to speak in different languages. A crowd gathers, and Peter delivers a powerful sermon, explaining that this event is the fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy and proclaiming Jesus as the Messiah. About 3,000 people believe and are baptized.

The new believers devote themselves to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. They share their possessions and meet each other’s needs. The early Christian community grows rapidly.

The apostles perform miracles and healings in the name of Jesus, drawing more people to the faith. Despite opposition from the religious authorities, the message of Christ continues to spread.

Stephen, one of the early followers of Jesus, is martyred for his faith, becoming the first Christian martyr. This event leads to increased persecution against the followers of Jesus, causing many to scatter throughout Judea and Samaria.

Saul, a zealous persecutor of Christians, encounters the risen Christ on the road to Damascus. This encounter transforms him, and he becomes the apostle Paul, one of the most influential figures in the early Christian Church.

The Gospel message begins to spread beyond the Jewish community. Peter has a vision that leads to the conversion of Cornelius, a Roman centurion. The church in Antioch becomes a significant center for the Christian mission.

A dispute arises concerning whether Gentile converts must be circumcised and follow Jewish customs. The apostles and elders convene the Council of Jerusalem to address this issue, affirming that Gentile believers are not required to follow these practices.

The first days of the Christian Church marked a period of dynamic growth, miracles, and the spread of the Gospel message. The early Christians faced challenges, including persecution, but their unwavering faith and the work of the Holy Spirit contributed to the establishment and expansion of the Christian Church.
