All-Powerful Father, You are my eternal Father and You have adopted me as Your child through Jesus Christ. I know my status as Your child will never be taken from me.

In this time when I am separated from my earthly family, I turn to You for comfort and strength. Give me the courage to live without the support structures to which I am accustomed. Help me to not despair but to cling to You, my Heavenly Father. Amen.
