Jesus, my Savior, thank so much for Your need-fulfilling mercies. Jesus, You remind us that our time on earth is short and that laziness will lead us to our demise. You bought me with the price of the cross, and I want to glorify You with my time on this earth. Protect me from the spirit of laziness, oh Jesus.
Motivate me to spring out of bed in the morning with vigor and ready to work. Flow Your power through me so that I run the race of this life to receive the eternal prize of being with You in heaven. Energize me to discipline myself and continuously push forward in action. Amen.
