Lord God, although there was a myriad of things that could have happened to me today, in Your mercy, You saw to it that I lived to see yet another day. From the rising of the sun to its setting, Your name alone is to be praised.
You have kept me from the dangers of the evil one. Lord, protect me as I sleep tonight also. Keep my mind from wandering into impure thoughts and dreams. Ease the anxiety in my heart and mind and help me to sleep in peace. Amen.
