Creator God, thank you that you are my strength and my song, you fill my heart with joy. The Bible says that all who are weary and burdened, should come to you, and you will give rest. Please help me to rest as I approach surgery. Your yoke is easy and your burden is light.

Please help me to have a smooth and successful operation, and help me to have peace and joy in my heart. May grace, mercy, and tranquility be with me, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Son, in truth and love. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.
