O God, Word of Truth, please deliver me from making negative confessions over my life or over other people’s lives. I know Your Word teaches me that death and life are in the power of the tongue. Holy Spirit, help me remember that the words of my mouth should be in agreement with what Your Word says.
I know I will have to give an account on the day of judgment for every careless word I have spoken. Help me to be intentional in speaking positive and faith-filled confessions over myself and those around me. Amen.
