Moses doesn’t believe god story – मूसा भगवान पर विश्वास नहीं करता कहानी

A long time ago, in the land of Midian, Moses was tending the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law. One day, while he was leading the sheep near Mount Horeb, also known as the mountain of God, something extraordinary happened.

Moses saw a bush that was on fire, but it did not burn up. Curious, he went closer to investigate this strange sight. As he approached, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”

“Here I am,” Moses replied.

God told Moses to take off his sandals, for the place where he was standing was holy ground. God then revealed Himself and said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.

God continued, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey. And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”

But Moses doubted himself and questioned God’s choice. “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” he asked.

God reassured him, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.”

Still, Moses was uncertain. He asked, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”

God answered, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.'”

Despite these assurances, Moses continued to express his doubts. He worried that the Israelites would not believe him or listen to his voice. In response, God gave Moses miraculous signs to perform: turning his staff into a serpent and then back into a staff, and making his hand leprous and then restoring it. But even with these signs, Moses felt inadequate.

He pleaded with God, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”

God reassured Moses once more, saying, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

Still reluctant, Moses begged, “Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.”

Then the Lord’s anger burned against Moses and He said, “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and he will be glad to see you. You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do. He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him. But take this staff in your hand so you can perform the signs with it.”

Finally, Moses accepted his mission. He returned to Jethro and asked for permission to go back to Egypt to see if his people were still alive. With Jethro’s blessing, Moses set out on his journey back to Egypt, carrying the staff of God in his hand, ready to face Pharaoh and fulfill God’s command.
