Bible Story Of Cain And Able

Adam and his wife Eve began their difficult life on earth after being expelled from Aden Vatika. They worked hard in the field throughout the day and grew a variety of cereals, fruits and vegetables.

Time passed and Eve gave birth to her first son. He was named ‘Kain’. When Eve had another son, she was named Abel.
Kain was interested in farming. He grew up to be a farmer. That’s where Abel loved sheep and goats. Growing up, he became a shepherd.

One day both of them were called by their father Adam and asked them to sacrifice to the Lord. Both of them obeyed him and started preparing for the sacrifice.
Kain thought he was a farmer then. Therefore, he should offer some of the produce generated in his land to the Lord. He kept most of the land’s produce for himself and offered some to the Lord.
Abel chose the firstmen of his best sheep to sacrifice the Lord. He loved them a lot. But he believed that the Lord should be offered his most beloved thing. Therefore, he offered to the Lord only the first born lambs of his best sheep.

The Lord accepted Abel’s gift, but refused. Seeing this, Kain’s face went off and his mind was filled with jealousy towards Abel. The flame of anger began to burn within him.
Then the Lord said to him, “Kain! Why is your face down? Why are you in anger? When you do good, you will be happy. If you don’t do good, sin will sit at your door like a violent animal to pounce on you. Will you be able to suppress him?”

But Kain’s anger did not subside. The feeling of revenge on Abel began to dominate him. He went to Abel in the evening and said, “Abel, shall we go for a walk?”
Abel was unaware of his intentions. He got ready to go with him. The two walked away and were attacked and killed by Kain in a secluded place.
When He was killed, the Lord called out to Kain, “Kain, where is your brother Abel?”

Kain replied, “I don’t know. How do I know? Am I his keeper?”
Then the Lord said, “What have you done, Kain? I know everything. You’ve killed your brother Abel. His blood is calling out to me from the ground. Bhumi has absorbed your brother’s blood that you have shed. So you will be cursed and deported from that land. If you cultivate that land, it won’t create anything. You will go around the earth like an aware.”

Kain pleaded before the Lord, “Lord, I cannot bear this punishment. You’re deporting me from fertile land. You’re far from me How can I go around the earth like a wind? No one there will kill me. Have mercy on me.”

The Lord said to him, “All I can do for you is that whoever kills you will be avenged seven times.”
When he met Kain, no one would kill him, so the Lord marked him with a sign. After that The Kain went from the Lord and began to live in the land of Node, east of Aden.

Thus, The First Crime on Earth was committed by Kain and he was punished.
