Ananias went to the house where Saul was staying, laid his hands on him, and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here, has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He was baptized, and after taking some food, he regained his strength.
From that moment, Saul’s life was transformed. He became a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and one of the most influential figures in the spread of Christianity. He began to proclaim Jesus as the Son of God in the synagogues, declaring that He is the Messiah.
The conversion of Saul is a pivotal event in Christian history, demonstrating the transformative power of encountering the risen Christ and illustrating God’s ability to use even the most unlikely individuals to carry out His purposes.
